
Internship (Trafficking Case Manager) - Heartland Housing Sanctuary
Job Description
Heartland Housing Sanctuary provides emergency shelter, advocacy and housing to survivors of sex trafficking, sexual exploitation and those that have engaged in sex work. This intern works as part of the human trafficking team working in close collaboration several community partners ensuring that survivors can access program services with minimal barriers. This intern is responsible for assisting in screening, safety planning and providing case management services to survivors. This intern will assist Sanctuary staff in providing needed support services to individuals on a weekly or monthly basis to include in person meetings in a variety of settings. The intern will be responsible in keeping documentation current and to meet agency standards.
Work Schedule: 16-20 hours per week
