Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service during every patient interaction Create working relationship with hospital department and provider offices Schedule appointment using correct Cerner Solution, following department templets and provider protocols Provide patient with instructions related to their appointment type Perform Pre-registration functions within Cerner Obtain or verify demographic information, insurance information and other data required on every call. Responsible for working knowledge of insurances accepted, insurance eligibility software, and insurance websites. Obtain insurance eligibility, discuss and correct discrepancies Communicate policy on collection of patient out of pocket responsibilities such as co-payments
