Job Description

Position Summary – In Room Dining Associate

As an In Room Dining Associate, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional in‑room dining experience to guests, ensuring prompt, professional, and personalised service at all times. You will be responsible for taking orders, preparing and delivering food and beverages, and maintaining service standards that reflect the quality and values of the hotel. This role is ideal for a guest‑focused hospitality professional with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering premium service in a luxury environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver efficient, courteous, and personalised in‑room dining service to guests in accordance with brand standards.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately via phone or in person, demonstrating strong menu and product knowledge.
  • Ensure timely delivery, correct presentation, and quality of all in‑room dining orders.
  • Set up trays, tables, and room service equipment to a high standard, ensuring a polished guest experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of in‑room dining areas, pantries, and service stations.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and food handling regulations at all times.
  • Upsell menu items, beverages, and promotions to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service and accurate order fulfilment.
  • Handle billing, cash, card transactions, and service charges accurately in line with financial procedures.
  • Collect trays and trolleys promptly, ensuring guest rooms and public areas remain tidy and presentable.
  • Respond to guest requests and concerns professionally, resolving issues promptly and escalating where required.
  • Support team members during service and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.
  • Represent the hotel brand with professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail at all times.
