Job Description
Responsibilities
The Registered Polysomnographic Technologist performs routine and complex Polysomnographic recordings using their understanding of the technical aspects of equipment used in monitoring, and recognizes parameters used in recording. Technologists perform PSG and CPAP/BiPAP testing in an efficient and effective manner, providing quality care to all patients. The Polysomnographic Technologist demonstrates a willingness to assist others, work well with minimal supervision, and have strong, independent judgment. The Polysomnographic Technologist uses department and hospital-wide policies and procedures during the provision of patient care, and is accountable for improving job knowledge and skills.
Qualifications
Required:
- One of: RPGST or RST or SDS

- One year in a sleep medicine setting
- Diploma
- Polysomnographic Technologist OR Registered Sleep Technologist OR Sleep Disorders Specialty (National)
