Job Description
1st shift position The Tool Room Area Manager has the authority and responsibility to coordinate and direct the efforts of all Tool Room Team Members. This includes, but is not limited to Tool and Die Makers, Machinists, Apprentices, Team Members assigned to the tool room, to assure that, through tooling programs, product quality and quantity meet or exceed customer expectations. Also, the Tool Room Area Manager is expected to provide manufacturing and engineering with the necessary operational and technical support to drive continuous improvement in the areas of tool prove out, tool buy off, and all areas of cost savings related to production and manufacturing. Aid in implementing principles, organizing and collecting data for Midway Engineering Standards, as directed.
