Nurse Extern for Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute. Duties include caring for Hematology/Oncology patients. Work with Nursing Preceptor in preparing patients for office visits and treatments. Requirements for the nurse externship include:

High school diploma or equivalent Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program Must have passed pharmacology class Must have started clinical rotations Strong interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of medical terminology Current BLS healthcare provider card
