Job Description
The Production Artist must have a comprehensive understanding of the print production process. The role of the Production Artist at SGS & Co. Mumbai is a bridge between 2D print and 3D CGI. The skill set must include a high level of the Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop applications. A solid understanding of print production techniques in order to take existing production art files and break them apart for 3D production. As part of a team, the Production Artist will work closely with Producers/Coordinators/Account Management Team, Modelers, and Lighters to provide the necessary 2D files for CGI production use. Apart from the daily need for CGI support the ability to create vector art for 3D Displacement maps is a requirement of the position. #LI-RW1
