To support our continued growth across Europe, we are looking for a high-performing and commercially minded Business Controller to join our Finance team in Vejle. In this role, you will act as a trusted finance business partner to our operations across Denmark and Norway, driving performance, transparency, and accountability.
As Business Controller, you will play a key role in supporting operational leadership and driving financial performance across a portfolio of sites. You will take ownership of providing actionable insights and ensuring strong financial discipline in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Key responsibilities include:
· Acting as the primary finance business partner to site management teams, supporting decision-making across the full P&L
· Leading financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting
· Delivering clear and actionable performance insights through variance analyses
· Supporting and challenging operations to identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements
· Building and enhancing Power BI dashboards and data models to improve visibility and decision-making
· Supporting investment decisions through robust business cases for automation and expansion projects
· Monitoring and controlling CAPEX, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities
· Developing and tracking of weekly KPIs to drive performance and accountability
· Conducting ad hoc and root-cause analyses to support business decision-making
You will be part of the European Finance organization and report to the Regional Finance Director, contributing to the ongoing development of a best-in-class business controlling function.
About you:
· You are analytically strong and have an inquisitive attitude
· Proven experience in business controlling, FP&A, or similar roles
· Advanced IT skills. Especially Excel, Power BI and ERP-systems
· Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear business insights
· Comfortable working in a dynamic, international, and growth-oriented environment
· Experience in logistics, supply chain, or FMGC environments is an advantage
· You are a real team player and able to manage different stakeholders
· Willing to travel between different locations in Denmark and Norway and the EU Finance hub in the Netherlands
