Job Description
Licensed and credentialed physician, practicing in the specialty of Pediatrics and providing direct patient care to clinic and hospital patients. Provide primary care services for infants, children and adolescents, including preventive care as well as diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of injuries and illnesses. Provide pediatric hospitalist care for newborn Level 1 nursery, inpatient pediatrics and shared call coverage. Examine patients, take medical histories, prescribe medications, counsel patients and parents/caregivers, order and/or perform diagnostic tests and perform procedures within the scope of practice for Pediatrics, as defined by the Hospital’s Medical Staff and physician’s clinical privileges approved by the Board of Directors.
