Medical Technologist I -Biochemical Genetics - Part-time

Performs a broad range of tests involving Biochemical Genetics utilizing various equipment and quality control parameters. Monitors and maintains lab equipment and supplies; and other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, basic sciences or related field required or to be completed within 90 days of the application date Successful completion of NACCLS accredited clinical rotation or at least 1 year of clinical laboratory experience in an accredited hospital or reference laboratory setting. ASCP preferred. Must be eligible for certification by a nationally recognized program, e.g. ASCP or equivalent. Must be certified within 12 months of employment.
