
Senior Director Domestic Violence Residential Programs - New York, New York
Job Description
The Senior Director of Domestic Violence Shelters is responsible for the overall administration and leadership of several emergency and transitional domestic violence shelters, representing over 500 beds. The Senior Director supervises and coaches approximately five to six shelter Program Directors, and is part of a team responsible for ensuring that the shelter programs provide high quality, client-centered, trauma-informed and culturally competent services to survivors of domestic violence and their children. The Senior Director is also a member of the agency’s Leadership Team, and works under the leadership and supervision of the Vice President of Domestic Violence Residential and Legal Programs. The principal duties are performed both in a general office environment and in the field.
