Job Description
Job Description
Seniorverse is a dynamic startup dedicated to transforming the senior care industry by providing innovative software and operational solutions tailored for adult daycare operators. Our mission is to responsibly serve seniors, their families, and the public good by empowering adult daycare providers with cutting-edge technology to deliver cost-effective, high-quality, and accessible senior care.
We are seeking a Chief Product Officer (CPO) to lead the development and implementation of both our hard product (software platform) and soft product (operational frameworks, best practices, and consulting services). This is a highly dynamic and strategic role that will touch nearly all aspects of the business, from software development to regulatory compliance to customer training and market expansion.
The CPO will work closely with the CTO and development team to ensure our technology meets the practical needs of adult daycare operators, bridging the gap between customers and engineering. Simultaneously, they will be responsible for designing operational playbooks, procedures, and training programs to assist in opening new adult daycare centers and optimizing existing ones. This role will also engage with government agencies, industry partners, and key stakeholders to shape policies, expand Seniorverse’s reach, and support the overall growth of the adult daycare market. Eventually, the CPO will build and oversee a team of professionals to provide direct support and consulting services to adult daycare operators.
We are looking for a highly experienced leader with a background in healthcare operations, multifamily housing, childcare, or similar industries—someone who understands both product development and regulatory frameworks and has the ability to drive innovation in a complex, compliance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Development
- Lead the vision and strategy for Seniorverse’s software platform, ensuring it meets the needs of adult daycare operators
- Work closely with the CTO and development team to translate customer needs into product features and enhancements
- Serve as the liaison between the development team and customers, gathering feedback and ensuring usability, functionality, and compliance
- Drive the development of future product features, including care management, billing, transportation, family portals, and integrations with other platforms
- Operational Playbooks & Consulting Services
- Develop comprehensive operating manuals and procedures for launching and managing an adult daycare center
- Conduct deep research into state and federal regulations, ensuring that adult daycare centers using Seniorverse’s tools remain compliant
- Provide guidance and training to customers on best practices for running a successful adult daycare center
- Lead efforts to build an in-house consulting team to assist with new adult daycare center launches and operational improvements
- Industry Partnerships & Government Relations
- Develop and manage partnerships with organizations that can help grow Seniorverse’s presence and connect with additional customers
- Engage with government agencies (State Medicaid Offices, State Departments of Health/Aging, CMS, USDA, etc.) to advocate for policy improvements that benefit adult daycare centers
- Build relationships with state and federal officials, representing both Seniorverse and the broader adult daycare industry
- Leadership & Growth
- Oversee the expansion of the product team, hiring and managing a team of product, regulatory, and consulting professionals
- Collaborate with the executive team to align product development with business goals and revenue growth
- Stay ahead of market trends, industry challenges, and emerging regulations to ensure Seniorverse remains an industry leader
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or similar field; equivalent industry experience will be considered
- 10+ years of senior leadership experience in healthcare operations, multifamily housing, childcare, or a related field
- Experience developing both technical and non-technical products, ideally at the intersection of software and operations
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks, particularly those affecting Medicaid, elderly care, and vulnerable populations
- Proven ability to interface with government agencies and navigate complex regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage teams, particularly in a high-growth or startup environment
- Experience working in a tech-enabled startup or leading product development at a software company serving regulated industries highly preferred
- Direct experience working with Medicaid, USDA programs, or other government-funded services highly preferred
- Strong public speaking, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
