Job Description

The position supports the mission, goals, and objectives of the Vermont State Colleges. The Title IX and Protected Rights Coordinator has primary responsibility for managing Title IX and protected class discrimination functions in Vermont State University. The position is responsible for managing and executing policies and programs which relate to protected categories under applicable laws and regulations, including Title VI, Title VII, Title IX, VAWA, Section 504, ADA, ADAAA and other federal and state anti-discrimination laws, and requirements. The position also supports initiatives to address equity issues at the VSU. The Title IX and Protected Rights Coordinator collaborates with and provides advice to VSC leadership, managers, Human Resources, and others to address compliance matters.
