Description
Key Responsibilities
- Define the long-term direction of the OneView platform.
- Translate strategy into a clear, prioritised and deliverable roadmap aligned to organisational goals.
- Enable safe and proportionate use of AI within the platform and across development practices.
- Work closely with the CTO to shape the platform’s architectural evolution.
- Introduce pragmatic innovation and constructively challenge assumptions where needed.
- Ensure technical decisions support scalability, resilience, security and long-term value.
- Ensure the platform addresses real public-sector challenges and constraints.
- Partner with consulting teams to translate frontline practice into scalable product capabilities.
- Connect real-world use cases with platform functionality, defining what “good” looks like for users.
- Strengthen innovation partnerships and broader ecosystem engagement.
- Build relationships with government, research and technology organisations.
- Leverage partnerships to accelerate platform capability, adoption and impact.
- Shape the long-term evolution of the OneView platform as the company scales.
- Operate alongside the CTO in defining direction and making key platform decisions.
- Over time, assume clearer ownership of product direction and platform outcomes.
Reporting and relationships
- Reports to the CEO.
- Works closely with the CTO on platform direction and architectural evolution.
- Maintains dotted-line alignment with Newton digital leadership.
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience leading, scaling or shaping complex technology platforms.
- Strong understanding of public-sector challenges, operating environments and delivery constraints.
- Ability to operate across strategy, architecture and execution—bringing clarity from ambiguity.
- Credibility with engineering teams and senior external stakeholders.
- Excellent collaboration and influencing skills across multidisciplinary teams.
Location – This is a hybrid role based in our office in London (Borough). You would be expected to be able to work from the office at least 1-2 days per week. Some travel is also required for on-site client engagements as needed.
