Role Overview
The IT Specialist will provide day-to-day technical support, maintain IT systems, and help optimize infrastructure performance. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with 2–3 years of experience who enjoys troubleshooting, supporting users, and improving IT processes in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Tier 1–2 technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access (e.g., Active Directory, Google Workspace, or Microsoft 365)
Troubleshoot system, network, and application issues in a timely manner
Support onboarding and offboarding of employees (IT equipment and access setup)
Maintain IT inventory and asset tracking systems
Assist with network administration tasks (VPN access, Wi-Fi, connectivity issues)
Monitor system performance and escalate complex issues as needed
Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices
Document processes, procedures, and technical solutions
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (required)
2–3 years of experience in IT support or systems administration
Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS environments
Experience with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or similar tools
Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and troubleshooting methodologies
Experience with endpoint management tools is a plus
