Role Overview

The IT Specialist will provide day-to-day technical support, maintain IT systems, and help optimize infrastructure performance. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with 2–3 years of experience who enjoys troubleshooting, supporting users, and improving IT processes in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1–2 technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues

  • Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals

  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access (e.g., Active Directory, Google Workspace, or Microsoft 365)

  • Troubleshoot system, network, and application issues in a timely manner

  • Support onboarding and offboarding of employees (IT equipment and access setup)

  • Maintain IT inventory and asset tracking systems

  • Assist with network administration tasks (VPN access, Wi-Fi, connectivity issues)

  • Monitor system performance and escalate complex issues as needed

  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices

  • Document processes, procedures, and technical solutions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (required)

  • 2–3 years of experience in IT support or systems administration

  • Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS environments

  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or similar tools

  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)

  • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and troubleshooting methodologies

  • Experience with endpoint management tools is a plus
