SPOC for Nx Automation
· Nx Automation Request Approver
· Development of high quality code
· Code Reviewer
· Training Subordinates
· Stake holder management
Skill Set
· Required proficiency in C#
· Required experience working with Siemens NX software
· Knowledge and experience in NX CAD design methodologies
· Good experience in NX Open , UFunc and Knowledge Fusion
· Required proficiency with Git and GitHub
· Required proficiency in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
· Required proficiency in application of the software design patterns
· Required proficiency in architectural design (Object oriented analysis & design)
· Required good presentation skills
· Required good training/coaching skills
· Required knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases and debugging.
· Required good knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum or SAFe).
· Required proficiency in team software development, including reviewing code of other developers via Pull Requests.
· Attention to detail and clear thinking
· Excellent written and verbal communication in English
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; commitment to delivering great software and releasing it quickly, efficiently and with increasing quality
· Program code within the coding standards set forth by the internal team
· Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
· Work with internal teams on product and documentation requirements
· Produce high-quality documentation that is appropriate for its intended audience

1. Automation Efficiency & Throughput
· Reduction in manual CAD work hours due to automation tools
· Number of automated workflows delivered (e.g., drafting automation, feature creation, BOM extraction)
· Execution time improvement for automated CAD tasks
· Frequency of automation tool usage by design teams
2. Quality & Reliability of Automation Tools
· Error rate in automation scripts (runtime errors, failed executions)
· Bug resolution time for automation-related issues
· Regression-free releases of NX Open tools
· Stability score based on user feedback and crash logs
3. CAD Model Integrity & Standards Compliance
· Compliance rate with modeling standards (naming conventions, feature tree structure, drafting rules)
· Reduction in rework caused by modeling inconsistencies
· Automated validation coverage (checks for geometry, metadata, PMI, etc.)
4. Tool Development & Innovation
· Number of new NX Open applications, plugins, or utilities developed
· Enhancements delivered to existing tools
· Adoption of advanced NX capabilities
· Proof-of-concept success rate for new automation ideas
5. Cross‑Functional Collaboration
· Response time to engineering support requests
· Number of cross-team automation initiatives completed
· Quality of documentation and training materials
· User satisfaction score from design and manufacturing teams

· Engineering cycle time reduction (concept → release)
