Patient Service Representative

Touchstone Medical Imaging is seeking a full-time Patient Service Representative, customer service-oriented professional for our medical front office position in Tyler, TX.   Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm and one Saturday per month 8am-5pm. The Patient Service Representative will assist patients with check in, check out, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling. Duties & Responsibilities: Schedule Patients for Diagnostic Exams and Procedures Assist with Authorization and Verifications Checking In / Out Patients Answering Multiple Phone Lines Provide Accurate and Complete Information to Billing Office Insurance Verification Ensure Accuracy of Patient Data Entered into the System Process Requests and Filing of Patient Records Requirements: 1-4 Years Experience in Medical Office Setting or Hospital is highly preferred Experience with Insurance Authorizations and Verification  Ability to Handle Heavy Patient Volume Strong Customer Service, Communication and Computer Skills Ability to Multi-Task Medical Terminology Knowledge Medical Assistant Certification is a plus Benefits: We offer a PREMIUM base pay, MONTHLY bonus opportunities, and an excellent benefits program.  We offer a comprehensive benefits program including: Monthly Bonus Opportunities!
