Position Overview:

This role sits at the heart of our business.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for finding the people who bring Canada Goose products to life. Partnering closely with Operations, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, this role plays a direct role in ensuring we have the right talent, skills, and leadership in place to deliver quality product to our customers.

This is not a transactional recruiting role. It’s a hands-on, strategic partnership with a complex and fast-moving client group. Success in this role requires sound judgement, speed, attention to detail, and the confidence to challenge how things have always been done. You’ll work with leaders who expect high standards and clear thinking, and you’ll help raise the bar on how talent is identified, assessed, and hired.

You’ll also be a visible ambassador for Canada Goose Careers, delivering a thoughtful, white-glove candidate experience while managing high-volume recruitment with care and precision.

What You'll Do:

Partnering With the Business

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with leaders across Operations, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.

  • Get to know the business well, how teams operate, where the pressure points are, and what great talent looks like in practice.

  • Work closely with Human Resources Business Partners to anticipate hiring needs tied to growth, change, and workforce planning.

  • Lead intake conversations that clearly define role requirements, expectations, interview approach, and hiring timelines.

Owning Full-Cycle Recruitment

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for your client group, from intake through offer and early onboarding support.

  • Develop smart sourcing strategies for both active and passive talent using Workday Recruiter, resume databases, professional networks, and direct outreach.

  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines to support ongoing and future hiring needs.

  • Screen and assess candidates thoughtfully, focusing on capability, potential, and overall fit.

  • Coordinate and participate in interviews, supporting hiring managers with interview structure, behavioural questions, and selection guidance.

  • Partner with hiring managers to gather clear feedback and move hiring decisions forward efficiently.

Candidate Experience & Employer Brand

  • Deliver a white-glove candidate experience that feels human, respectful, and well-organized.

  • Be the main point of contact for candidates, keeping them informed, supported, and engaged throughout the process.

  • Represent Canada Goose Careers authentically, both internally and externally.

  • Build a personal reputation that reflects credibility, approachability, and high standards.

Offers, Systems & Execution

  • Lead offer discussions and negotiations in partnership with hiring managers.

  • Manage all recruitment activity in Workday Recruiter with a high level of accuracy and care.

  • Coordinate reference checks, background checks, and pre-employment steps as needed.

  • Track recruiting activity and key metrics such as time-to-fill, volume, and source-of-hire.

Improving How We Work

  • Bring forward ideas to improve hiring practices, especially for a client group that requires flexibility and resilience.

  • Challenge processes that slow things down or don’t add value.

  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team on projects that improve tools, workflows, and communication.

  • Stay connected to market trends and evolving talent expectations within Operations, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.

  • Support onboarding as needed, helping new hires feel welcomed and set up for success.

About You:

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience.

  • Hands-on experience using Workday Recruiter (required).

  • Experience recruiting in fast-paced, high-volume environments.

  • A business-partner mindset, you care about outcomes, not just filling roles.

  • Confidence to push back, ask better questions, and challenge the status quo respectfully.

  • Strong sourcing and assessment skills, including outreach to passive talent.

  • High attention to detail, even when moving quickly.

  • The resilience and grit needed to support demanding client groups.

  • Clear, confident communication and strong relationship-building skills.

  • Experience negotiating offers and closing candidates in competitive markets.

  • Comfort working with data, systems, and process, without losing the human side of recruiting.

  • A service-oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership.

  • Commitment to confidentiality, fairness, and quality hiring practices.

This role is based on-site three days per week, enabling close partnership with teams, leaders, and the day-to-day work happening across Operations, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
