Custodian

- Reports to: Connie Griffin, Custodial Supervisor, & Mark Pennington, VP & Facilities Director
- Location: Lebanon, OH - Main Office & Operations Center (nightly)
- Status: Seasonal Part-Time Hourly Non-Exempt
- Hours: Monday -Friday 5:00-10:00 p.m.
Position Purpose:
LCNB National Bank is seeking a seasonal part-time Custodian to join our Facilities Department. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment across bank facilities as part of a team. This role ensures all areas, including offices, common spaces, and meeting rooms, are properly cleaned and maintained to support a healthy and professional workplace.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, disinfecting, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces throughout bank facilities
- Clean and restock restrooms, including replenishing supplies
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles and ensure proper disposal
- Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs (e.g., plumbing, lighting, HVAC issues)
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications/Education/Experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (required)
- Commercial cleaning experience (preferred)
Desired Competencies/Skills:
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience (preferred)
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently
- Effective time management and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Service-focused mindset
Working Conditions:
- Exposure to various cleaning chemicals *
- Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Frequent reaching and stooping; may occur throughout each shift
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds intermittently
- Pushing manual machinery (up to 30 pounds)
- This position requires working indoors and occasionally outdoors
- Gloves and masks provided
