Faculty of Education and Human Development

The Department of Psychology is seeking outstanding applicants for fractional appointment as Lecturer I, especially those with expertise in: 

  • Social Psychology

  • Mental Health

  • Educational Psychology

The appointee will engage in teaching, administrative duties, and other services. They will be required to teach programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, provide academic guidance to students, and contribute to other departmental and faculty activities and management. Experience in tertiary teaching is essential. Applicants should have a Doctoral degree with substantial post-qualification teaching experience in a tertiary education setting, preferably possessing qualified teacher status and/or professional qualifications in the relevant subject areas. They should be fluent in English, with a preference for some knowledge of Cantonese and Putonghua and an understanding of the educational context of Hong Kong and/or China.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental benefits.
