Job Description
Classic LifeCare is a trusted, family-run home care agency with over 50 years of experience providing exceptional healthcare services. We take pride in our accreditation by Accreditation Canada. We are recruiting Home Support Workers in Quesnel who have a strong background in both personal care and housekeeping. This role requires comfort and experience with cleaning, organizing, and maintaining a safe, tidy home environment, in addition to supporting clients with developmental or mental health disabilities and personal care needs.

Compensation
Health Care Worker: $21 per hour
Registered Care Aide: $23 per hour
As a Home Support Worker, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing assistance with personal care and medications.
- Conducting light meal preparation and homemaking services.
- Offering companionship and emotional support.
- Assisting with medical escort services.
- Assisting with medication management.
- Assisting with housekeeping.
- Following the guidelines and policies of the company.
- Maintaining professional boundaries.
Competencies and Qualifications:
- Experience working with seniors and/or individuals with disabilities.
- Experience with housekeeping and personal care. Must be comfortable providing shower assistance, peri care, and meal preparation.
- Willingness to work both short and long shifts.
- Willingness to take initiative and complete household tasks such as housekeeping, light personal care (if required), companionship, and assistance with any outings.
- Willingness to commute to designated locations.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Ability to take direction, demonstrate accountability, communicate effectively, and work under pressure is essential.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive and friendly attitude.
- Possession of a Care Aide certificate and BC registry number is an asset.
- A clean criminal record check.
- Valid driver's license and access to their own vehicle.
- Located around or willing to travel to the Quesnel, BC area.
