Job Description
A Summer Kids' Camp Counselor main responsibility is to ensure that campers are safe at all times - making sure they don't get lost or hurt.
Other job responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Supervise young campers at all times as you lead them through recreational and educational activities (i.e. swimming or crafting).
- Maintain a patient, pleasant and welcoming attitude at all times.
- Assist lead counselors in creating weekly or daily schedules of activities.
- Set up and maintain equipment.
- Perform simple first aid or tend to injuries, as necessary, and keeping accurate incident logs when situations arise.
Camp Counselor is a seasonal position (approx. June 15 through August 25). Monday through Friday daytime schedule, plus Wednesday nights.
