We have opportunities for Maintenance Mechanics in Richmond, VA where you’ll play a key role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely. Perform a variety of preventative maintenance and repair tasks on equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

What You’ll Do:
- Prioritize Safety: Follow all safety, environmental, emergency and company policies and procedures.
- Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose and resolve basic electrical and mechanical issues with machinery and equipment.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine tasks such as lubricating, aligning, adjusting, and cleaning equipment.
- Operate Equipment: Safely use mobile equipment as needed.
- Electrical Work: Assist with troubleshooting electrical/mechanical devices, material handling systems, machine tools, fluid controls, and automated manufacturing equipment.
- Install: Set-up new equipment.
- Fabrication & Welding: Perform basic welding for repairs and fabrication.
- Systems Support: Work on hydraulic, pneumatic, combustion, and PLC systems (with opportunities to advance through our Pay-for-Skills program).
- Documentation: Complete required paperwork to track maintenance activities.
- Housekeeping: Maintain clean and safe work areas after completing projects.
- Project Support: Participate in planning and construction projects as needed.
- Continuous Improvement: Advise management on preventive maintenance needs.
