Sales Support - Supply Chain

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Madrid team as sales support for our supply chain functions.

In this role you will combine customer service excellence, analytical skills and commercial awareness within a fast-paced role. You will be engaging with stakeholders across the organization, including Sales and Supplier Management teams, to align supply chain and operations accountability.

What are the key responsibilities?

  • Analyze customer forecasts and trends using Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) and working with customers and sales to plan and buy to forecast.
  • Prepare forecast models, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers and sales to assess the feasibility of forecasting requirements.
  • Apply inventory management discipline to assess inventory levels
  • Participate in program set up and maintenance, including transitions, model changes, and recommending modifications to program set up, operation, to enhance efficiency and revenue.
  • May be assigned specific customer accounts or cross/multi supplier solutions.
  • Negotiating and collaborating with suppliers on channel and distributor policy decisions
  • Monitor current supplier/company's business processes to drive the development of new or improved supply chains

What are we looking for?

  • Relevant work experience in a similar role or a customer focused background
  • Attention to detail with the ability to follow processes and procedures
  • Ability to develop and implement solutions to defined tasks and projects.
  • Good communication skills fluent in English, another language will be advantageous
  • Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • High levels of initiative, independence, and problem-solving ability
  • Must have good IT skills with knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across teams
