About the Role We are seeking a General Labor, Packing team member to join our Alsip, IL bakery. As a General Labor, Packing, you will be accountable for packing baked products according to case counts and quality specifications while maintaining food‑safety standards, supporting line flow, and contributing to a clean, safe, and collaborative production environment. Shift & Schedule Shift: 3rd Hours: 9:45PM – 6:15AM Weekend availability: Required Compensation Hourly Rate: $18.00 – $19.00 Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing) Pack products consistently according to quality, case count, and customer specifications Monitor and communicate product quality issues to leads and operators Support production flow by placing filled containers on the conveyor or into cases for further processing Maintain a clean, organized, and food‑safe work area in compliance with GMPs Follow production instructions to ensure accuracy, consistency, and food safety Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals Contribute to a safe environment by reporting potential contamination or hazards Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table) Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions Ability to lift 20–30 lbs. as needed One year of related experience or training (preferred but not required) Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success) High school diploma or GED Experience in food manufacturing or packing environments Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team Aspire Bakeries is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
