Site Supervisor and Geotechnical Technician

As a site supervisor, you’ll be required to work on client sites to ensure work compliance and adherence to site permit guidelines. Key responsibilities Monitor sites. Attend site meetings. Write daily reports. Write and follow up on non-conformity reports. Ensure work compliance: Inspect the construction of ditches, dikes and hauling roads. Control backfill material compliance and quality. Control backfill compaction. Perform basic geotechnical tests. Take training, where required. Update various logs. Ensure continuous communication with the various stakeholders on work sites and in the design offices. Manage drillers and perform geotechnical survey work, including soil sampling, geotechnical field testing, installation of monitoring wells and writing factual geotechnical reports.
