Job Description

We are looking for excellent full-time Assistant Manager candidates to join our management team. The primary role of the Assistant Manager will be to support the General Manager and District Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the store, providing exceptional customer service, and assisting with the supervision and development of the front- and back-of-house team. The ideal candidate is focused on excellent customer service and strong operational execution, has demonstrated restaurant leadership experience, and is eager to grow within the organization.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assists with recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, and scheduling team members, in partnership with the General Manager.

• Supports the General Manager and Human Resources in managing performance, including coaching, counseling, and escalating disciplinary matters as appropriate. Communicates job expectations to staff; assists with monitoring and reviewing employee performance; enforces policies and procedures.

• Communicates in a timely and effective manner with the General Manager regarding operational and staffing issues.

• Assists with regular restaurant inspections to ensure the team and restaurant are meeting company standards.

• Supports inventory tracking and accurate record keeping.

• Identifies and assists in resolving issues with food preparation and service. Helps team handle customer service issues with grace, courtesy, and the goal of cultivating happy, returning customers.

• Helps maintain a safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by following and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; proper safety procedures, including injury reporting and equipment safety; complying with health and legal regulations.

• Accomplishes company goals by accepting ownership of assigned responsibilities and assisting with additional duties as needed.

• Thorough understanding of good hygiene and food handling practices

• Flexible schedule required, including weekends and nights

• Strong work ethic

• Minimum of 1 year of previous food service, retail, or restaurant leadership experience


Additional Information:

• Restaurant experience is required

• Manager Food Handler Certification required (or ability to obtain)
