Job Description
The Multi-Family Sector Energy Commissioning Engineer supports multifamily residential projects through energy modeling, commissioning, and performance verification to advance energy efficiency and high-performance building outcomes. This role collaborates with owners, clients, and design teams to analyze energy use, assess HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, and recommend practical efficiency and decarbonization strategies. Responsibilities include supporting and leading certifications such as Passive House, ENERGY STAR Multifamily, LEED for Homes, and WELL, as well as conducting inspections, testing, audits, life-cycle cost analysis, and technical reporting to ensure regulatory compliance and long-term operational performance.
