About us

Damen Song Cam Shipyard Co., Ltd is a joint venture between Damen Shipyards Group in the Netherlands (70%) and Song Cam Shipyard (30%), member of SBIC and based in Haiphong, Vietnam. At a 42-hectare site just outside Haiphong, Damen Song Cam is a strategic and preferred production location within the Damen Shipyards Group to produce tugboats and workboats. Now, the shipyard is a dedicated outfitting shipyard, outfitting, commissioning, and delivering approx. 45 vessels per year to clients worldwide. At a later stage Damen Song Cam will further increase its production facilities to deliver approx. 80 vessels a year and will start to produce some of the hulls which are currently sub-contracted to other yards.

The role:

- Control and report all inventory transactions, inventory data, documents, reports in warehouse.

- Assist warehouse team leader in daily jobs.

Key accountabilities:

- Functional:

  • Control warehouse documents: Delivery notes, good receipt documents, good issue documents, checking report, NCR (Non-Conformity Report), shipment overview, shipping documents.
  • Monitor and report inventory transactions (good issues and good receipt).
  • Reconcile and map data between ERP and hard copy.
  • Find and propose clean issues in mismatched warehouse data.
  • Check and arrange administration work for urgent requests from other teams.
  • Coordinated physical inventory counts, investigated cycle counting variances and resolved issues.
  • Report on open tasks in warehouse: open picklist, open PO (Purchase Order), non-complete shipment receipt.
  • Report on KPI (Key Performance Indicator) and waste management in warehouse.
  • Assist warehouse team leader in the improvement of internal controls related to inventory flow and physical storage.
  • Support storekeeper in ERP issues.

- General regulations:

  • Compliance with company and employment regulations.
  • Keep the workplace clean and in order.
  • Meet the "HSEQ Statement" and applicable safety regulations (including legal obligations).

Skills & experience:

- Education:

  • Bachelor of Economics, accounting, or other related majors.
  • Proficient computer skills (word, excel, outlook)
  • English and ERP will be preferable

- Experience:

  • At least 3-year experience in a relevant position in accounting and logistics.
