What You’ll Be Doing

Our 264-unit apartment community in Quakertown, PA is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Service Technician with at least 2 years of maintenance experience who enjoys troubleshooting, takes initiative, and delivers outstanding customer service. Strong plumbing and electrical experience are important for success in this role.

As a Maintenance Technician at Morgan Properties, you will:
Be responsible for troubleshooting service issues including, but not limited to, HVAC, general appliances, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing
Perform general maintenance and appliance troubleshooting
Support apartment make-readies/turns to prepare units for new residents
Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws
Assist with grounds and curb appeal to support overall community appearance
Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets
Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates
You will be part of a team consisting of a Service Manager and two Service Technicians, working together to support the community.
Compensation & Incentives:
Base Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
Up to 50% Rent Discount
Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

Hours & Schedule:
Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Paid rotating on-call participation required
Must be available and prepared for emergency events
Schedule subject to change based on business needs
What We’ll Expect From You:
Minimum 2 years of maintenance or related trades experience required
Strong experience with plumbing and electrical troubleshooting
Multifamily experience or transferable maintenance experience required
High level of customer service and professionalism when interacting with residents
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to complete work independently
Comfortable using a smartphone, mobile apps, and computer systems
Active, valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle
Ability to live within a reasonable commute of the property
HVAC / EPA / CFC certification preferred
