SR. MANAGER, TRAINING & ENABLEMENT
 
ABOUT YOU:
You are a strategic learning leader who knows how to turn sales strategy into measurable performance outcomes. As Sr. Manager, Training & Enablement, you will lead the development and execution of sales training and enablement strategies that improve productivity, accelerate revenue growth, and strengthen sales capabilities across the customer lifecycle.

You thrive at the intersection of sales strategy, learning design, coaching, and operational execution—building scalable programs that drive real behavior change and business impact. You will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Leadership teams to ensure employees have the tools, knowledge, and support needed to succeed in a fast-moving, growth-focused environment.
 
YOU WILL:
  • Lead sales enablement strategy. Develop and execute comprehensive learning and enablement programs aligned to revenue goals and go-to-market priorities.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to sales leadership. Identify skill gaps, performance trends, and capability development opportunities that improve sales effectiveness.
  • Lead and develop the training team. Coach and manage training managers, facilitators, and instructional design resources to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
  • Design scalable learning programs. Oversee onboarding, sales skills, product training, leadership development, compliance, and negotiation training initiatives.
  • Drive frontline manager effectiveness. Build coaching frameworks and reinforcement strategies that strengthen feedback, accountability, and performance management.
  • Leverage blended learning methodologies. Utilize instructor-led training, virtual learning, coaching, and digital enablement tools to maximize engagement and retention.
  • Translate business challenges into learning solutions. Develop scalable programs that directly support pipeline growth, quota attainment, and sales productivity.
  • Measure training effectiveness and business impact. Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to evaluate learner engagement, ramp time, win rates, and overall ROI.
  • Use data to continuously improve programs. Analyze sales performance trends and learner feedback to refine training strategies and prioritize investments.
  • Manage operational excellence within learning. Oversee budgets, vendor relationships, timelines, compliance requirements, and learning technologies.
  • Champion innovation in learning and enablement. Stay current on emerging sales training methodologies, technologies, and eLearning best practices.
  • Typical/expected % of overnight travel: 20%, per business needs
 
YOU HAVE:
  • Education. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Organizational Development, or equivalent related experience. Preferred Master’s degree (e.g., Organizational Development, Adult Learning, MBA).
  • Sales Enablement Experience. 6–8+ years of experience in sales training, enablement, or learning and development roles. Preferred experience leading learning transformations or implementing learning technologies (LMS/LXP) with a strong understanding of sales methodologies (e.g., Challenger, MEDDICC, SPIN, consultative selling).
  • Leadership Experience. 3–5+ years of experience managing and developing teams.
  • Strategic Learning Expertise. Proven ability to translate sales strategy into impactful learning programs and scalable enablement solutions. Preferred combination of field sales/sales management and training/curriculum development
  • Multi-Channel Training Experience. Experience delivering training through classroom, virtual, coaching, self-directed, and online learning environments. Preferred experience in a field with a long selling cycle; service or consultative selling required; education market; and/or management of independent representatives. Preferred experience supporting a geographically dispersed workforce.
  • Project Management Skills. Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in fast-paced environments.
  • Executive Communication Skills. Excellent facilitation, presentation, and influence skills across all levels of the organization. Preferred familiarity with change management methodologies.
  • Program Development Expertise. Demonstrated success designing, scaling, and optimizing training programs.
  • Business Acumen. Strong understanding of how learning initiatives support organizational and revenue goals.
  • Data-Driven Mindset. Resourceful decision-maker who uses analytics and performance insights to improve outcomes.
