Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add an Emergency Department Pharmacist to our Pharmacy at Baptist South located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full time, evening shift, opportunity to work 7 days on, 7 days off. The schedule would be evening shift, working 13:00 to 23:30.
As the ED Pharmacist, you will be responsible for:
- Enters orders with great accuracy.
- Checks technician work for accuracy prior to release of medications and solutions to the floor.
- Supervises technicians and serves on committees as assigned.
- Answers questions for all health care professionals.
- Serves as a consultant for members of the medical staff.
- Monitors patient therapy as assigned, including pharmacokinetics service.
Education & Credential Requirements:
Registered Pharmacist - State Board of Pharmacy Required
Licensed Pharmacist - DOH Required
Bachelor of Science Required
