We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and evolution of this critical software platform. This is a high-impact opportunity to influence product direction at a pivotal point in its lifecycle and help deliver meaningful outcomes for clinicians and recipients around the world.
Reporting to the Director, Audiological Solutions Software, you will work across global teams to translate customer needs, clinical insight, market signals, and business priorities into products that create measurable value.
About the Role
As Senior Product Manager, you will define what we build, why it matters, and how we prioritise. You will own product strategy, roadmap decisions, discovery, and outcome accountability for the fitting platform.
Success in this role requires balancing customer needs, clinical considerations, technical constraints, and commercial objectives to make clear, evidence-based decisions in a complex and evolving environment.
You will partner closely with Engineering, Design, Clinical, Regulatory, Commercial, and Marketing teams to deliver products that improve hearing outcomes and customer experiences globally.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy, Roadmap and Prioritisation
Own and maintain a clear, evidence-based product roadmap aligned with portfolio strategy and market direction.
Define product priorities that maximise customer value and business outcomes.
Translate customer, clinical, workflow, and technical needs into actionable product direction.
Make and communicate clear go, pause, pivot, and prioritisation decisions supported by evidence and trade-off analysis.
Discovery and Opportunity Validation
Lead product discovery activities in partnership with Design and Engineering.
Translate portfolio priorities into validated product opportunities and hypotheses.
Assess desirability, feasibility, viability, and workflow impact before investment decisions.
Ensure opportunities are clearly defined and ready for delivery.
Market Intelligence and Customer Engagement
Develop a deep understanding of customer, clinician, and market needs.
Gather and synthesise insights from customer research, usage analytics, competitive intelligence, and Key Opinion Leaders.
Use outside-in perspectives to inform strategic product decisions.
Balance competing stakeholder needs through transparent and evidence-based reasoning.
Launch Readiness and Product Success
Define product readiness criteria and support successful product launches.
Partner with Commercialisation and Marketing teams to articulate product value.
Monitor adoption, customer satisfaction, clinical efficiency, hearing outcomes, and business performance.
Incorporate market feedback into future roadmap and lifecycle decisions.
Stakeholder Alignment and Governance
Build trust and alignment across technical, clinical, commercial, and regional teams.
Drive high-quality decisions through influence, communication, and evidence.
Produce clear decision artefacts to support governance and timely decision-making.
Maintain momentum in fast-moving and ambiguous environments.
Product Lifecycle Management
Remain accountable for product outcomes after launch.
Monitor performance signals and distinguish meaningful insights from noise.
Drive continuous product improvement and evidence generation.
Make recommendations on enhancement, expansion, maintenance, or retirement decisions.

Required Skills
Strategy and Prioritisation: Demonstrated capability to set product direction aligned to portfolio strategy, define value, and prioritise roadmap decisions.
Clinical and Customer Context: Demonstrates either strong cochlear implant clinical fluency or a proven track record of rapidly building credibility in complex clinical environments.
Decision Quality and Outcome Ownership: Uses evidence (data, customer insight, and commercial context) to make and defend decisions, and remains accountable for outcomes through launch and in-market evolution.
Stakeholder Influence and Communication: Drives alignment across complex, multi-party environments through clear communication, sound reasoning, and decision-ready artefacts.
Execution in Ambiguity: Maintains pace and judgement in evolving governance and high-ambiguity conditions.
AI-Enabled Working Practice: Uses AI tools pragmatically to accelerate discovery, synthesis, and communication.
Desired Skills
Deep hands-on cochlear implant audiology expertise, including fitting and programming practice.
Strong product management experience in medical device software, clinical software, or other regulated health technology products.
Strong product management experience in complex business software used by professional users in high-stakes workflows.
Education
A degree in Audiology, Health Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, with candidate suitability assessed on demonstrated role capabilities and domain credibility.
Languages
English — Fluent (required)
Dutch or French — Intermediate or above (advantageous)
Work Experience
Candidates may come from different backgrounds and will be assessed against the Required Skills listed above.
5+ years' experience in cochlear implant audiology, fitting/programming, or cochlear implant clinical software; or
5+ years' experience in product management or product strategy in health technology, medtech, clinical software, or similarly complex business software.
