How you’ll contribute
A Scheduler who excels in this role:
- Schedules all patients for ancillary, surgical, and medical testing/procedures/admissions.
- Obtains physician's orders and authorization/pre-certification. Enters outpatient procedures in the Order Entry System.
- Communicates insurance coverage limitations, testing requirements, and other pertinent information to patients and physician offices.

What we’re looking for: Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior scheduling experience in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred.
- Medical terminology, billing, and/or collection experience is preferred.
- Strong computer skills required.

TCRH is a 141-bed facility that includes acute care, ambulatory care and emergency services. TCRH is considered a rural hospital that serves a large Medicare population, as well as, a total population of approximately 60,000. We operate within a 100-mile radius.
