Job Responsibilities:
The Universal Banker serves as a trusted relationship partner, building strong connections with customers while supporting the financial well‑being of individuals, families, farms, and small businesses. Through active listening and meaningful conversations, the Universal Banker understands each customer’s needs and recommends practical, goal‑based banking solutions.
This role combines personalized service with broad banking knowledge, enabling support for everyday transactions, account management, and digital banking education within a welcoming, relationship‑focused branch environment.
Working collaboratively with branch teammates and bank specialists, the Universal Banker ensures well‑rounded customer support while maintaining high standards of accuracy, operational integrity, and compliance. By consistently delivering thoughtful follow‑up and high‑quality service, the Universal Banker strengthens customer loyalty, supports local economic growth, and reinforces the bank’s reputation as a trusted community partner.
The Universal Banker has the flexibility to travel between branches to assist as needed.

Accurately operates and balances a teller drawer daily, balances the vault, coin machine, and ATM.
Responsible for the completion and accuracy of batching and scanning of teller work through the Branch Capture System.
Process customer transactions with accuracy and professionalism while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Answers complex client inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges, and account transactions while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations, and consumer privacy policies.
Accurately opens all consumer and commercial deposit accounts.
Responds to client inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations and consumer privacy policies.
Identifies referral opportunities, refers clients and completes client follow up for additional retail and bank services.
Embraces and promotes the use of Salesforce and LSB360.
Answers and provides a consultative call experience by asking clarifying questions, identifying caller needs and facilitating accurate and efficient call routing when necessary.
Serves as a resource for training.
Complies with internal controls, operational procedures and risk management policies.
Adheres to the organization’s established standards of professional appearance and behavior
Represents Lincoln Savings Bank in a professional and positive manner in all duties, including active participation in civic, community, and networking events to foster strong relationships and enhance the Bank’s community presence.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Position may require occasional company-related travel; a valid driver’s license is required.
Necessary Skills and Attributes:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience in Customer Service
Prior cash handling experience
Ability to obtain Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS
Excellent customer service skills
Strong organizational skills
Detail oriented
High degree of accuracy
Occasionally lift and/or move items over 10 pounds without reasonable accommodation.
Proven track record of referring clients to all business lines while meeting or exceeding sales goals
Ability to take initiative and utilize sound judgement in decision-making and higher-level problem-solving
Highly effective and professional written and verbal communication skills
