The ideal candidate will bring both technical rigor and industry insight, with experience developed at a large accounting or consulting firm.

This role is ideal for a TAS professional who thrives in fast-paced deal environments, enjoys leading client engagements, and can effectively translate complex financial, operational, and regulatory dynamics within healthcare businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Execution & Advisory

  • Oversee financial modeling, trend analyses, KPI development, and normalization adjustments specific to healthcare businesses.
  • Evaluate key healthcare-specific drivers (payer mix, reimbursement trends, provider productivity, revenue cycle, regulatory and compliance considerations) and translate them into transaction insights.

Client & Engagement Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for private equity and corporate healthcare clients throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Manage multiple concurrent engagements while maintaining quality, timelines, and client satisfaction.
  • Deliver clear, concise, and actionable reports and presentations tailored to executive and investor audiences.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Supervise, coach, and develop staff and senior associates; provide ongoing feedback and support career development.
  • Review team work product for technical quality, accuracy, and alignment with engagement objectives.

Market & Practice Development

  • Support business development efforts, including proposal development, participation in pitch meetings, and identification of new opportunities.
  • Contribute to healthcare industry thought leadership and internal knowledge-building initiatives.
  • Build and nurture relationships with private equity firms, lenders, and healthcare operators.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 3+ years in Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) at a large accounting or consulting firm.
  • Significant experience working on healthcare-focused M&A transactions, preferably with middle-market deal sizes.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare subsectors (providers, physician groups, behavioral health, home health/hospice, healthcare IT, revenue cycle management, ASC networks, etc.).
  • Expertise in preparing and reviewing quality of earnings (QoE) analyses, financial models, and related transaction deliverables.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead multiple workstreams concurrently.
  • Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—with experience presenting to C‑suite and private equity executives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.

Preferred

  • CPA, CFA, or MBA.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulatory environments, reimbursement methodologies, and operational KPIs.
  • Experience working with private equity sponsors on both buy-side and sell-side mandates.
