What you’ll do

You will monitor all fleet vehicles and equipment to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.

You will evaluate equipment for condition and risk factors according to state and Federal DOT requirements, as well as internal operating procedures and processes.

You will provide continuous oversight for asset accountability and ongoing process improvement initiatives.

You will assign trucks to employees and maintain equipment distribution lists, along with fuel cards.

You will conduct periodic vehicle and equipment inspections across the Lambert’s footprint, including 30-50% travel to field locations.

You will manage physical assets (e.g., machinery, vehicles, equipment, supplies). Evaluates, obtains and allocates physical asset resources, maximizes their use and projects future asset needs.

You will manage and establish working relationships with vendors and corporate representatives (e.g., suppliers, consultants, contractors)

You will act as the point of contact on all vehicle violations and toll queries within the assigned area, and collaborate with Fleet Administrative Assistant on timely payments.

You will apply critical thinking skills to understand problems, analyze facts and anticipate results to make decisions based on available information and meet deadlines.

You will operate company vehicles in a safe manner and maintain a professional appearance.
