Project Manager IV (Business Operations)

Hybrid in Fremont, CA

Responsibilities

  • Convert customers and internal user’s ERP system requirements into System development sprints using Scrum & Waterfall Methodologies.
  • Work with programmers to implement global ERP business modules across the current system architecture.
  • Design and Develop data distribution model for application program interface (API’s) also connect internal ERP modules for seamless IT data exchange.
  • Design and development of an ERP system module to automatically calculate and deliver quotes to customers.
  • Deploy programs that leverage data warehouses and provide data visibility to customers and internal users. Examples include, aging inventory reporting calculations, manufacturing KPIs and Engineering KPIs, regularly testing Hyve’s ERP infrastructure and delivering a vulnerability assessment, working with programmers to address gaps in the ERP infrastructure.
  • Execute ERP projects by implementing project management methodologies that are hybrid of Agile and Scrum.
  • Calculate Earned Value for each development ERP sprint.
  • Manage deployment of new IT tools for internal and external customers.
  • Test and implement IT Business Continuity measures for Hyve Track Planner Value, Earned Value and Cost details for all project deliveries on a quarterly basis.
  • Oversee projects with precision and insight.
  • Drive innovation and find effective solutions to challenges within the project scope.
  • Role is hybrid with 3 days in office permitted within reasonable commuting distance of the Fremont, CA office.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Applications, Industrial and Systems Engineering, or related field of study and three (3) years of experience as a Project Manager, Industrial Engineer, Process Engineer, or related role where required experience gained.
  • Also requires experience in the following:
  • Managing complex projects for SMT machines equipment and software and modifying or enhancing shop floor/ERP system and working with cross-functional teams;
  • Working with various project execution methodologies like Agile, Scrum and Waterfall;
  • JIRA and Confluence Tools;
  • Data visualization tools (Power BI), Project Management Tools and Process re-presentation tool (Microsoft Visio);
  • Budgeting and successfully delivering projects within defined budget (fixed and variable) and scope;
  • MRP systems;
  • Supporting a large-scale event or project with demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve problems with speed;
  • Agile development and methodology;
  • Developing and creating project plans that display project milestones in accordance with SDLC and PMP governance guidelines;
  • Leading and facilitating discussions on agile best practices, workflows, and tools usage;
  • Software and machinery utilized in Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) production;
  • Integrating manufacturing machinery with Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software, demonstrating technical proficiency in this area;
  • Databases and IT systems, showcasing versatility and adaptability in various technical environments;
  • NEXIM and IFS traceability systems to showcase versatility and adaptability in various technical environments;
  • Supply chain management, particularly within the context of PCBA manufacturing, to enhance operational efficiency;
  • Technical and operational aspects of PCBA production to enable effective project leadership and decision-making; and
  • Developing and implementing strategies that align with project goals, ensuring successful outcomes.

Salary range: $138,965-$150,500 per year
