Job Description

Requirement: SPM/SKM/SV

JOB PURPOSE

Perform electrical technical duties related to the departmental and company objectives based on the regulations set by the Company and Suruhanjaya Tenaga.

Operational Excellence

• Maintain daily up-to-date records for management evaluation and information purposes by collecting or logging data for information into specially designated log sheets
• Installs, maintains, tests, and repairs generators, control equipment, electrical motors, power circuit breakers, voltage regulators, electronic equipment, transformers, and other electrical equipment.
• Operate, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot all electrical equipment below specified voltage limits and ensure these are run safely to support the company’s operations.
• Carry out daily inspection and monitoring for HT and LV switchboards, bus ducts, transformers, switch gear, and TNB supply
• Carry out preventive maintenance as per standing operation procedures.
• Diagnoses, repairs, and replaces control systems hoisting equipment, overhead cranes, and elevator systems.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and general arrangement drawings
• Maintain strict safety and housekeeping practices at all times adhere to safe operating procedures and acknowledge any dangerous conditions

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

• Maintain the competency from the competent body (Suruhanjaya Tenaga - ST) for job competency
• Perform works as required to obtain ST compliance
