Your expertise will directly shape strategic decisions and strengthen the financial performance of a 74M EUR business area. As our Cost Controlling Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate cost accounting, insightful analysis, and high‑quality reporting within ADS. Your work will support the Finance Business Partner and ADS leadership in making confident, fact‑based decisions.
Key Activities and Responsibilities
- Be the expert in cost accounting, IFRS principles, and corporate accounting processes.
- Analyze cost data, identify anomalies, and provide clear root‑cause analysis and recommendations.
- Operate confidently in SAP (FI‑CO, IM, MM, SD) and build advanced Excel/AfO dashboards.
- Deliver accurate monthly reporting, including variance analysis and cost driver explanations.
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles with cost estimates, depreciation, and investment follow‑up. Identify improvement opportunities in processes, allocations, tools, and reporting flows.
- Provide data‑driven financial guidance to the Finance Business Partner and ADS stakeholders.
- Collaborate with various teams, communicate clearly, and uphold confidentiality and accuracy at all times.
Skills
- Education in finance, accounting, controlling, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in cost accounting, IFRS, and corporate financial structures.
- Hands‑on SAP experience (FI‑CO, IM, MM, SD) and advanced Excel/AfO skills.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret complex data, and develop cost models.
- Experience in reporting, planning, and variance analysis.
- A process‑improvement mindset with the ability to challenge and innovate.
- High attention to detail, numerical discipline, and ability to manage peak workloads.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, hybrid workstyles, and regular travel to HQ (Belgium).
