Project Specialist

Purpose and Mission

• Within the GBS team, the person in this role is responsible for supporting/driving projects which involves implementation, standardization and continuous improvement of the processes across all GBS scope. Strong GL skills and experience is a requisite
• The role manages key transitions / scope additions into GBS, as well as Benchmarking within (across SSC) and outside of GBS to drive efficiencies and best practices. The holder manages the documentation of all modifications, adequate training solutions

Key Activities and Responsibilities

1. RRB (Resource Related Billing) process owner
   • Ownership of RRB process
   • RRB implementations and extension
2. Project Management
   • Project manage key transitions into GBS and implementations in line with the company objectives and strategy
   • Project Manage the Best practise implementation from China SSC to TCS
   • Adoption of new tools, technologies, RPA 
3. Process Excellence
   • Work with stakeholders to develop a process map of how processes feed into each other and what inputs or outputs are involved,
   • Support process documentation (Standard Operating Procedures) allowing anybody to manage, troubleshoot and complete the process,
   • Drive a continuous improvement culture within GBS and the concerned functions, thru internal and external benchmarking 
4. Control and Compliance
   • Ensure adherence of all Company policies & directives,
   • Ensure an adequate control environment exists to fully meet the Corporate/Group requirements in relation to deliverables,
   • Support activities for the internal and external audits in close collaboration with the Group internal Audit and Risk Management team, Financial Controllers and concerned functions

Skills

Previous Experience

Qualifications and Education

• University degree
• Experience in working with global and multicultural teams
• 5+ years post qualification experience in an SSC/GBS environment, with a strong understanding of the End-to-End concept and relevant process, especially in GL area
• Experience in leading change processes and identifying key risks and controls
• Strong process excellence, continuous improvement and customer service mindset
• Open mind with ability to constantly challenge the status quo
• Strong data analyst skills
• Ability to work well with deadlines and effectively handle multiple and concurrent demands
• Strong experience within SAP environment and automation / digitalization
• Fluent in English and preferably additional language
• Willingness to travel occasionally
