Job Description
I. Purpose of the Role (This is a Temporary hiring for 3 months, can be extended upto 3-4 months)
Support market intelligence team on internal data analysis and market research to generate insights for further business initiatives.
II. Roles and Responsibilities
1. Market data search and analysis
• Downstream monthly data collection from websites, associations and regions; fine tune data to continually improve data reliability and accuracy.
• Build up global databases of downstream information to generate the holistic picture and insights. Data analysis and reporting on monthly base.
• Study on downstream leading indicators per region and per segment and develop the model to translate leading indicator to business insight
• Search new data sources and data analysis per requests from the team.
2. Product portfolio analysis
• Perform portfolio strategy modelling covering customer needs, portfolio assessment and future market projections as input for strategy exercises (X+5, X+10)
• Support creation of LT update presentations on product strategy
3. Market research & segmentation analysis
• Conduct market research on trends, market size (building on point 1. with focus/deep-dive on key segments) and stakeholder dynamics along the value chain to reinforce market understanding
• Distil key insights from external expert interviews for strategy exercises
III. Skills & Competencies
• Good understanding of Microsoft Tools.
• Candidates with any Bachelor’s degree can apply.
