Job Description

I. Purpose of the Role

As a Procurement COE Supplier Management Specialist, you will work in the global sustainability, risk and compliance team, part of the Procurement Center of Excellence (COE).
The purpose of this role is to provide central expertise on sustainable low-risk and compliant procurement, leading global initiatives and supporting category teams to take relevant action with their supplier base.

II. Roles and Responsibilities

• You lead global projects supporting our supply chain sustainability ambition.
• You are the subject matter expert (SME) for sustainable procurement, supporting category teams to identify and execute sustainability initiatives.
• You monitor the supply chain sustainability landscape, identifying, prioritising and leading the response to new and upcoming needs (external and internal).
• You follow-up the execution of supplier sustainability processes (e.g. Conflict minerals, SCoC, REACH, supply chain due diligence) and incorporate supplier sustainability requirements into our digital supplier onboarding/management process together with our supplier onboarding SME.
• You train procurement teams on our approach and processes surrounding sustainable procurement.
• You continuously look for opportunities to improve on our current approach.
• You are the expert on supplier sustainability data and support to build streamlined reporting and data flows.

• You support and track the timely closure of procurement-related observations.

III. Skills & Competencies

• Bachelor's degree preferred or similar through experience. 
• Project management skills and track record in project implementation.
• Champion of change, flexible and adaptable.
• Excellent communication (incl. presentation skills), active listening and collaboration skills.
• Prior procurement and/or supply chain sustainability experience is a plus.
• Fluent in English.
• Analytical and data savvy.
• MS Office (Excel, ppt., etc.)
