About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Director of Data, ML & BI to lead one of the most important areas of Prodege’s technology and product ecosystem.
This leader will be responsible for driving execution and building stronger operating discipline across three highly visible functions: Data Platform, Performance Marketing - Machine Learning, and Business Intelligence. The role requires someone who can lead through complexity, bring clarity to competing priorities, and build an organization that is both technically strong and execution-focused.
This is not a pure strategy role. We are looking for a hands-on senior leader who can work across internal teams, external vendors, and executive stakeholders to improve delivery, raise the engineering bar, and ensure these functions support the business in a scalable and reliable way.
What You Will Own
Data Platform
Lead the modernization of Prodege’s data platform, including ingestion, standardization, platform reliability, and downstream data readiness
Drive execution of the modern data platform roadmap, ensuring strong ownership, milestones, and accountability across internal teams and third-party vendors
Improve how data is ingested, standardized, and made available across the company in both batch and real-time patterns
Partner with engineering and product leaders to ensure the platform supports BI, ML, lifecycle marketing, and application use cases
Machine Learning
Lead the ML organization across applied machine learning, production model delivery, and platform partnership
Help the team focus on practical, production-ready ML systems that drive business value in areas such as yield, optimization, ranking, and decisioning
Strengthen the operating model across ML engineering, data science, experimentation, and product collaboration
Help build the right talent, prioritization, and execution model as the ML function scales
Business Intelligence
Lead BI toward a more trusted, scalable, and sustainable model
Improve KPI governance, semantic consistency, reporting durability, and self-service capabilities
Ensure Product, Finance, and business leaders have reliable, consistent data for decision-making
Reduce reactive reporting patterns and help build stronger foundations for long-term business intelligence
What This Leader Will Do
Own delivery, operating rhythm, and execution discipline across Data, ML, and BI
Set priorities across the three functions and make clear tradeoffs when everything cannot move at once
Work closely with executive leadership to align on goals, risks, status, and expectations
Surface issues early, drive decisions quickly, and take accountability for outcomes
Raise the engineering bar across teams, including better planning, design rigor, quality, and delivery consistency
Bring an AI-first mindset into how teams build, test, analyze, and operate
Help move the organization toward a more standardized PDLC / SDLC without creating unnecessary bureaucracy
Build a strong leadership bench and ensure each function has the right structure, roles, and accountability
What We Are Looking For
12+ years of experience across Data, ML, BI, Analytics Engineering, or related software / platform leadership roles
5+ years leading multiple teams or functions through managers and senior technical leaders
Strong experience leading at least two of the following at meaningful scale: Data Platform, Machine Learning, Business Intelligence
Proven track record of improving execution in complex, high-visibility environments
Experience working with third-party vendors and creating strong accountability across shared delivery models
Strong technical depth: able to speak the language, go deep when needed, and provide high-level architectural guidance
Experience building or modernizing data platforms, ML systems, BI foundations, or related engineering capabilities
Comfortable working directly with executive leadership, reporting status clearly, and aligning expectations under pressure
Strong judgment on how to balance speed, quality, technical debt, and long-term platform health
Experience bringing AI into engineering, analytics, or product workflows in practical, disciplined ways
Strong Plus Factors
Experience in AdTech, MarTech, marketplace, rewards, consumer platform, or high-scale transaction environments
Experience with modern data stack and platform technologies such as Snowflake, dbt, Iceberg, Trino, Kafka, streaming, and event-driven systems
Experience supporting BI, ML, experimentation, lifecycle, and application use cases from a shared data foundation
Experience helping teams transition from reactive delivery to stronger execution and operating discipline
