The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, responsible for leading the financial strategy, planning, and management across all business units: the Hotel, Event Center, Country Club. Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, the CFO provides financial leadership and discipline to support the company’s strategic initiatives, long-term growth, and profitability. This role oversees the Finance Team and is accountable for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, internal controls, audit compliance, and capital planning.
Key Responsibilitie
Financial Leadership & Strategy
Lead the development and execution of financial strategies to support company-wide goals, including multi-year planning, capital investment, and risk management.
Partner with the CSO and executive leadership to align financial planning with organizational strategy and business transformation initiatives.
Provide insight and recommendations on operational performance, strategic investments, pricing models, and margin improvement.
Financial Operations Oversight
Oversee all core finance functions including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and treasury.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual performance summaries.
Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with financial regulations and audit standards.
Responsible for tax filing compliance including timely and accurate year end supporting schedules and documents for tax return filings.
Business Unit Financial Support
Lead financial oversight and support for the Hotel, Event Center, and Country Club operations.
Collaborate with general managers and operational leads to evaluate P&L performance, labor modeling, and revenue/cost efficiencies.
Deliver actionable financial insights to drive profitability and informed decision-making at the unit level.
Capital & Asset Management
Manager capital planning, debt structuring, and investment prioritization aligned with strategic growth and ROI targets.
Oversee fixed asset tracking, depreciation, and long-range financial modeling for facility enhancements and infrastructure projects.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Finance Team with a strong focus on collaboration, accuracy, and business partnership.
Promote a culture of financial transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Partner cross-functionally with all departments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (MBA or CPA designation strongly preferred).
6+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally in hospitality, real estate, or multi-unit business environments.
Deep understanding of hotel and club accounting principles, revenue modeling, and capital-intensive operations is preferred.
Proficiency in financial systems, business intelligence tools, and financial planning software.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking abilities.
Experience leading financial teams in a complex, service-oriented organization.
