Overview

The Barber delivers exceptional grooming services including precision haircuts, fades, beard detailing, and grooming treatments while creating a polished, welcoming, and highly personalized guest experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, growing their book, and being part of an elevated, team-driven culture.

What You’ll Be Doing

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Deliver expert haircuts, fades, tapers, and beard services tailored to each guest

• Provide in-depth consultations to understand goals and recommend personalized grooming plans

• Create a refined, consistent experience that reflects the Blush standard of luxury and care

• Maintain a clean, organized, and elevated workstation

• Educate guests on at-home care and confidently recommend retail products

• Actively build and retain a loyal clientele through connection and follow-up

• Collaborate with the team to support overall guest experience and revenue growth

• Display confidence and professionalism at all times

• Interact cooperatively with other team members to provide a seamless customer experience

• Present an exemplary professional standard in dress, personal grooming, hairstyle, makeup, language and healthy lifestyle

• Anticipate the needs of the guests and provide them with utmost assistance

• Ability to have flexibility and effectively multitask

• High level of organizational skills

• When not servicing clients, tend to additional job responsibilities

• Maintain high energy in order to work effectively in a fast paced environment

• Complete each service within the time frame designated for our level

• Maintain opening and closing duties

• Practice the highest standard of sanitation and tidiness

• Participate in all coaching, salon/ company meetings, and training sessions

• Know pricing, services, and policies of the Salon + Spa and have the ability to sell and upgrade

• Follow Greenleaf Hospitality Group procedures

• All other duties that the Spa General Manager has set forth

What You Need for this Position

• Valid cosmetology or barber license in the state of Michigan

• Strong technical skills in modern and classic barbering techniques

• Confidence in consultation, communication, and client relationship building

• Passion for elevated service, attention to detail, and continuous growth

• Motivation to grow your business and take ownership of your success

• Ability to create a luxury experience through both your work and your presence

• Team-oriented while also driven to build a strong personal clientele
