Retail Support Specialist

Responsibilities: This person will serve as an integral part of providing support to retail locations within MFA on point of sale and associated software. They will also work to continue streamlining processes and procedures to ensure accuracy and optimal efficiency across point-of-sale, agronomy, and asset-tracking platforms. This person must have agronomy knowledge and be able to talk knowledgeably about agricultural equipment. All duties should be performed in accordance with company policy.

What You’ll Do

• Provide support for all Retail and Local affiliate locations on procedures involving our internal point-of-sale and agrononomy dispatching software
• Provide database maintenance and setup across both platforms
• Support will require an on-call weekend with rotation with other employees
• Assist with developing and documenting workflows to capture relevant data within the software for tracked assets across MFA
• Maintain and update software systems to ensure consistent and accurate reporting information on assets
• Testing new functionality of our internal software
• Provide the vendor with documentation and support for reported defects of the Software

Qualifications 

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Ag Business or related field
• 2 years of agronomy experience
• Knowledge of general agricultural equipment
