The Opportunity:

Laboratory Support Technician (In Vivo Facilities)

Full-Time | Permanent Contract
Location: Mölndal, Gothenburg

We are looking for a reliable  Laboratory technician to work in a laboratory support role. This is a hands-on, operational job where you help keep the lab running smoothly so scientists can focus on their research.

No scientific degree is required. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys practical work, cleanliness, and routine tasks in a professional environment. Experience working as a Lab technician in a laboratory environment is considered a strong advantage.

What You Will Do

·                Wash and handle cages, lab equipment, and materials

·                Deliver consumables, chemicals, and sterile goods

·                Clean and maintain machines and work areas

·                Handle washing and replenishment of lab coats and work clothes

·                Deliver animal enrichment items and dietary products

·                Keep work areas clean, tidy, and well organized

·                Follow health, safety, and hygiene rules at all times

·                Communicate with lab staff and report issues when needed

 

Working Hours

·                Monday to Friday

·                Daytime hours between 06:00 and 18:00

·                Working on certain public holidays and bridging days is required, for example during major holidays such as Christmas and New Year.

 

Who This Job Suits

This role is ideal if you have experience in:

·                Hotel housekeeping

·                Hospital or facility cleaning

·                Factory or production environments

·                Other structured support or service roles

 

You should be

·                Comfortable working in a regulated laboratory environment

·                Confident following established instructions and routines

·                Able to handle information carefully and accurately

·                Comfortable using a computer and basic systems

·                Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and other required tools

·                Physically fit and comfortable with standing, walking, and lifting

·                Reliable, structured, and safety‑focused

·                Able to work independently and as part of a team

·                Fluent Swedish and English communication skills are required
