Position Summary
This internship will provide an opportunity to learn about technical assistance work supporting the Digital Project Services division of DIR and assist with the Quality Assurance Team (QAT) programs. Work involves research, analysis and reporting on statewide IT projects. Performs complex (journey-level) digital project services tasks working under general supervision with limited latitude for the use of initiatives and independent judgement.
- Assists with Smartsheet/Statewide Project Automated Reporting System (SPAR) reporting.
Supports roadmap planning and execution.
- Updates files/logs related to Major Information Resources Project (MIRP).
- Organizes files/logs via SharePoint.
- Assists with marketing and communication of Quality Assurance Team (QAT) activities.
- Assists with updating our training materials, templates, guides, etc.
- Drafts meeting notes and agendas.
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
Education
· A recent graduate, or a student currently enrolled in a college or university as an undergraduate or graduate, with a major or course work in computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field (High School diploma required).
· Must possess academic performance that is considered in good academic standing by college/university standards.
