We are seeking a talented Clinical Informatics Specialist for our Summerville, South Carolina territory. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating all phases of the optimal design, development, evaluation, and support of clinical technology solutions utilized by healthcare providers.
Accountabilities Include:
- Coordinate and participate in clinical workflow analysis and needs assessment planning with client organizations and design clinical workflows to improve patient safety and streamline clinical communications.
- Participate in ongoing customer metric tracking, highlighting opportunities and wins and providing opportunities for optimization.
- Interface with customer organizational leadership for the planning, development, scheduling, and delivery of system design and implementation.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships, serve as a system champion, and promote best practices.
- Collaborate with sales to provide presentation support (preparation and delivery), quote input, and presales design to potential customers.
- Participate in customer site walk throughs to determine product selection and optimal placement.
- Lead educational programming and clinical go lives, providing robust just-in-time education and support.
- Educate customers with a solid technical aptitude on technology (hardware and software), communication, and workflow concepts as it relates to theory and product understanding.
- Instruct customers about complex workflow topics and explain them in an understandable and practical manner.
- Collaborate with internal and external team members to ensure project timeliness, resource management, and metric success, while providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain a clean, presentable vehicle inside and out, completing routine preventive maintenance requirements and arranging for repairs as required.
- Develop, review, and update educational tools and documentation used for customer organizations.
- Identify and troubleshoot problems that occur with vendor products.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements for Success:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in nursing, education, healthcare, or technical field – or equivalent work.
- License to perform nursing preferred.
- Ability to exercise the highest level of confidentiality and integrity.
- Comprehensive knowledge of current clinical practices.
- Ability to deliver compelling, engaging and informative presentations online and in a public setting with the appropriate tone of voice, body language, and delivery.
- Professional self-starter who is reliable, flexible, proactive, resilient, organized, and punctual.
- Computer skills to include understanding basic computer manipulation, managing computer files, word processing, using spreadsheets and databases, creating presentations, finding information, and communicating.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively express ideas and information.
- Ability to thrive both independently and in a team environment.
- A high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Basic math computation skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages and fractions.
- Ability to follow policies, processes and procedures.
- Effective use of Microsoft 365 suite of products.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to task in completing assignments with quality outputs.
- Maintain a clean driving record.
